Our Critique & Edit Service uses a professional drafting and evaluation technique to analyze existing documents. 

We carefully review documents for grammer, punctuation, spelling, sentence construction, and manuscript style. In addition, we identify areas with unnecessary or excessive explanations to help streamline your message and improve overall readability. 

After reviewing, your document will be returned with annotation markings highlighting our recommendations for corrections, adjustments, omissions, and revisions. These notes are intended to guide you in refining and polishing the document to its final form. 

The most common documents requested for review are, 

but not limited:

• Business Plans, Bylaws
• Nonprofit Proposals (or Boilerplates)
• Business Portfolios
• Policies, Procedures, Handbooks
• Service Agreements, Contracts, Addedums
• Confidentiality Statements
• Website Page Content
• Brochures, Pamphlets, Trifolds

• Must be:  Typed, 12-Font, Double-Spaced, Times New Roman

• Document must indicate page numbers, on header or footer

• Submit to us electronically in a standard Adobe PDF format.

Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) files and other editable formats are not accepted. The PDF format will preserve document integrity and prevent accidental changes to the original text, sentence structure, and format.

• Ensure all documents are submitted in one (1) attachment, clearly titled, and organized in chronological order prior to saving in the PDF format.

We do not reorganize or rearrange document content or sections. To ensure an accurate assessment, documents must be in the order and format by which they would be presented to a potential recipient.

• The document should include all relevant sections, headings, and supporting content that the client wishes to have evaluated. 

• Please remove from within the pages of your document any charts, graphs, tables, figures, or other visual illustrations. 

We limit our services to editing and proofing written text only.
